Heroes Only

Laughter Power: Fat jokes as well as being skilled in the art of the innuendo.

Weakness: Chipotle and Bees.

Patrick Ciamacco, the Laughter League’s fearless leader, grew up in Brunswick Ohio. Patrick spent most of his high school period performing. It was then that he found his love for theatre. Patrick also began to experiment with improv comedy, filming improv movies with his brother Joe Ciamacco as well as good friends Joe Kenderes and Chuck Klein. Shortly after graduating high school, Patrick was cast in the Cleveland production of Tony & Tina’s Wedding. Patrick was thrilled to be working as a professional actor at such a young age. During this 2 ½ year run Patrick was able to play 6 roles in the show setting a record. The show holds the record currently for being the longest running show in Cleveland. After closing T&T’s Wedding to sold out houses, Patrick continued to work as an actor in the Cleveland area. Professionally, Patrick has been seen in Shrek: The Musical (Shrek) at Mercury Summer Stock, a musical version of The Nutcracker at The Cleveland Play House, as a zany furniture salesman and bingo caller, in an improv-based show called We Gotta Bingo (Bucky Fuller) at Playhouse Square. You may have also seen him perform at The Beck Center in Putnam County’s 25th Annual Spelling Bee (William Barfee) as well as the regional premiers of Evil Dead The Musical (Jake) and Jerry Springer: The Opera (Dwight/God).

Other acting credits include 3 Guys Naked From The Waist Down (Phil), Into The Woods (Rapunzel’s Prince/Wolf), Secret Garden (Archibald), Of Mice & Men (Lennie), The Music Man (Harold Hill), Art (Marc), Sweeney Todd (Anthony), Children of Eden (God), Chess (Freddie), Rocky Horror Picture Show (Eddie), Pippin (Leading Player), Baker’s Wife (The Baker) and Romeo & Juliet (Friar Lawrence). Patrick can also be seen in many different print ads and commercials.

While Patrick is the acting director for The Laughter League, he also directs all over Cleveland. Patrick is the founder and Artistic Director for Blank Canvas Theatre.
